The socialist-era 'cola without cola', Cockta is a rosehip-and-herb soda that has been a regional Adriatic staple for decades and is poured all over Croatia. It is Slovenian in origin, so score it as a shared ex-Yugoslav classic rather than strictly Croatian, but it is a genuine holiday-shelf find a Czech traveler rarely sees at home.
