505 s crtom traces back to Kraš's predecessor Union, whose first fruit candy was simply coded 505 before a new machine let them press the trademark line across each piece. Croatia Week notes the hexagon-and-stripe sweet 'brings back memories of the early childhood days' and says 'even songs were written about it', while a Croatian candy reviewer's advice on a sugar-free spin-off was blunt: 'leave us 505 s crtom alone.' A generational classic with no Czech equivalent.
