Kraš Bajadera

Hazelnut-almond nougat pralines · Kraš · Chocolate & candy

9/10must-try

Why it's worth it

Croatia's most famous confection, made by Kraš since 1954 and the first Croatian sweet to earn the 'Croatian Creation' label. A box of Bajadera is the default gift Croatians bring and the single most recognisable edible souvenir to carry home. There is no Czech shelf twin.

Taste

Layered nougat praline: hazelnut nougat on the outside, creamy almond nougat in the middle; nutty and sweet with a faint dark-chocolate bitterness, melts smoothly on the tongue
