Pavlidis Gofreta Ygeias (Dark Chocolate Wafer)
Dark-chocolate cream wafer · Pavlidis · Biscuits & wafers
Why it's worth it
Pavlidis opened Greece's first confectionery in 1841 and created the legendary bittersweet Ygeias (Health) dark chocolate that won the first gold medal in Paris in 1865. The Gofreta Ygeias wraps that heritage dark chocolate around a wafer, the darker counterpart to ION's Chocofreta. A piece of Greek chocolate history you cannot buy in Czechia.
Taste
Crisp wafer layers with cocoa cream under Pavlidis' bittersweet Ygeias dark chocolate; less sweet and more cocoa-forward than the milk-chocolate rivals
