Cynar is the famous Italian bitter made predominantly from artichoke, launched in 1952 and instantly recognisable by the artichoke on the label. It is bittersweet, herbal and earthy, sipped as an aperitivo or digestivo or long with soda. Rare on Czech shelves, so it is a distinctly Italian bottle to bring back. For adult travelers.
