Lazzaroni has baked amaretti in Saronno since 1718 from a secret recipe, and its red-and-gold tin is one of the most recognisable images in Italian confectionery. Each cookie is individually wrapped, which makes the tin an easy, sturdy souvenir to pack home. Amaretti di Saronno is not a Czech supermarket item.
