Novi Gianduiotto Classico

Hazelnut-chocolate ingots · Novi · Chocolate & candy · Piedmont

8/10must-try

Why it's worth it

The gianduiotto is Piedmont's iconic chocolate, a foil-wrapped ingot of chocolate and toasted hazelnut and the direct ancestor of Nutella. Novi is the mainstream supermarket brand for it, so it is the affordable way to take home the real Turin original rather than a spread. A distinctly Italian chocolate you will not find on Czech shelves.

Taste

Ingot of gianduia (chocolate blended with Piedmont hazelnut paste); exceptionally creamy, nutty, melts in the mouth
