Why it's worth it

Katarzynki are the icon of Toruń gingerbread, made by Kopernik (the world's oldest gingerbread factory, roots to 1763) in the shape of six connected circles named after a legendary baker's daughter Catherine. Czech perník exists, but the Toruń Katarzynka is a regional protected classic with no direct Czech equivalent.
