Why it's worth it

Made continuously since 1964 by the Lublin-area confectioner Solidarność, this candied whole plum in a cocoa-cream coat is called "an unquestionable icon among Polish sweets" and "probably in the top 5 of all-time favorite Polish candies." It has no equivalent on Czech shelves and remains one of the most purely nostalgic sweets a Polish supermarket sells.
