Wawel Michałki Klasyczne (Peanut-Filled Chocolate Bar)

Why it's worth it

Michałki take their name from the common Polish male name Michał and were traditionally sold loose by the kilo in sweet shops. One retailer calls them "one of the most recognizable Polish candies," and a Polish-food blog describes them as "the most beloved chocolate pralines among Poles," especially at Christmas. The dense roasted-peanut filling under milk chocolate has no direct Czech shelf equivalent.
