Born in the 1960s, Bitter Kas is Spain's classic alcohol-free aperitif and the leader of its bitter category, poured before meals the way others reach for a vermouth. Its bittersweet gentian flavour has no Czech supermarket counterpart, which makes it a genuinely Spanish thing to try.
