Bonilla a la Vista Patatas Fritas (Tin)

Olive-oil potato chips · Bonilla a la Vista · Salty snacks · Galicia

9/10must-try

Why it's worth it

A Galician cult chip made since 1932 and sold in a reusable tin. El Comidista's editor called them extracrujientes, tienen el grosor perfecto y saben a patata y aceite limpio, and a specialist taster scored them 9 out of 10. They are a distinctly Spanish gourmet chip with no Czech shelf equivalent.

Taste

Ultra-thin (about 1.2 mm) potato crisps fried in olive oil with only potato, olive oil and sea salt; clean, light and persistently crunchy, tasting of potato and clean oil
